Vancouver’s Oakridge Park redevelopment — one of Canada’s largest mixed-use urban projects — will feature a substantial 500 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations supplied by Hypercharge Networks Corp. The installation will include “300 wall-mounted single-port chargers and 200 overhead single-port chargers” designed specifically for the development’s high-density valet parking system, according to an article by Connect CRE.

Hypercharge President and CEO David Bibby explained that the charging network was engineered to “maximize efficiency while maintaining seamless accessibility,” supporting the site’s long-term sustainability goals. The partnership underscores Oakridge Park’s commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation in green mobility.

Chrystal Burns, Executive Vice President of Canadian Retail at QuadReal Property Group, emphasized the project’s forward-thinking approach, stating: “By partnering with Hypercharge, we are ensuring that Oakridge Park is equipped with an innovative, space-efficient EV-charging solution that meets the evolving needs of our residents, tenants, and visitors.”

Beyond the charging infrastructure, the article highlights Oakridge Park’s impressive scope: 850,000 square feet of retail, 700,000 square feet of office space, and more than 3,000 residential units. Together, these elements make Oakridge Park a model for sustainable, mixed-use urban development that integrates luxury living, retail, and mobility into one cohesive community.
